Custom Sticker & Label Rolls for Quick and Easy Branding

Custom Roll Labels vs. Sticker Rolls: What's the Difference?

While both sticker rolls and label rolls come in convenient roll formats for easy application, they serve different purposes and are designed for different types of products. Here’s a breakdown to help you understand the key differences and when to use each one:

Custom Sticker Rolls: Use Cases

Sticker rolls are typically used for branding, promotions, and giveaways. Our Kiss Cut Stickers (both traditional and holographic) and Clear Stickers are available on rolls and perfect for businesses that want to create a memorable brand experience or engage customers in a fun, interactive way. These stickers are designed with high-quality materials that fit your custom shape and can be used in various settings, from water bottles to laptops.

Imagine you’re a coffee shop launching a new seasonal brew. You order Kiss Cut Stickers on rolls to hand out at a local festival, putting your logo and branding on water bottles and event giveaways. Here are some other ways to use custom sticker rolls:

  • Merchandise: Use logo stickers on mugs, t-shirts, or water bottles to engage your customers and keep your brand visible.
  • Event Giveaways: Hand them out at trade shows, conferences, or local events to create excitement and drive awareness of your business.
  • Promotional Campaigns: Use sticker rolls for marketing initiatives, like discount promotions, seasonal flavors, or new product launches.
  • Product Branding: Stickers add a personal touch to your products and packaging, helping customers connect with your brand on a deeper level.

Custom Label Rolls: Use Cases

Label rolls, on the other hand, are designed for product packaging. They are often used for bottles, jars, boxes, and other packaging materials. Our label rolls ensure that your products look professional and consistent across all units, whether for a small batch or large-scale production. These labels are often made from materials suited explicitly for packaging needs, such as water-resistant, oil-resistant, and easy-to-apply materials like BOPP or paper.

Consider a craft brewery that needs to label hundreds of bottles with a new beer release. With custom label rolls, they can easily apply each label with the orientation set perfectly for their machine, keeping the production line moving quickly and efficiently. Labels are available in several different materials, such as glossy, matte, clear, or holographic. Other use cases include:

  • Product Packaging: Use bottle labels, jar labels, or packaging materials to ensure your products are clearly branded and easily recognizable.
  • Retail Products: Ideal for businesses that need consistent and professional-looking retail packaging, whether for cosmetics, food products, or beverages.
  • Mass Production: Custom label rolls are perfect for businesses that need to label large quantities of products, ensuring a fast, consistent application process.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain a cohesive look across all your product lines with custom label rolls that match your brand’s design and product needs.

Industries Needing Custom Stickers and Labels on Rolls

Printed labels and stickers are a versatile solution businesses across various industries use for branding, packaging, and promotions. Whether generating product labels or creating merchandise for giveaways, these rolled labels and stickers help you streamline your operations while ensuring your branding stays on point. Here are just a few industries that rely on custom-rolled stickers and labels:

Breweries

Custom beer labels are essential for breweries, allowing you to personalize each bottle or can with your unique branding. Order roll labels to make it easy to apply large quantities of labels, whether you're preparing for a new release or a special event.

Cannabis & CBD Companies

Cannabis and CBD product labels need to display product information clearly, while custom stickers can be used for promotional swag and packaging. With rolled labels, you can efficiently label large batches of bottles or jars, ensuring your product stands out on shelves.

Food & Beverage

From bottled juices to sauces, durable roll labels are the perfect solution for packaging in the food industry. You can also use Kiss-Cut Stickers for promotional giveaways or to add fun, branded swag to your product packaging.

Retail & E-commerce

Whether you’re labeling products for sale or sending them out to customers, rolled labels ensure your packaging looks polished and professional. Stickers can be added to packages for branding and giveaways, making engaging with customers easily.

Health & Beauty Products

Prepping Art Files for Excellent Print Quality

Before your labels or stickers are ready to be placed on a roll, it's essential to create a print-ready file. Getting your files set up properly ensures that your label designs are printed to perfection, with sharp details and vibrant colors. Here’s a quick guide to help you get started:

  • Use the right file format. We recommend submitting your artwork in high-quality formats like PDF, AI, or EPS. These formats preserve your design's details and vector quality, ensuring crisp and clean prints. Avoid low-resolution files like JPEG or PNG, as they can result in pixelated prints.
  • Set Your DPI (Dots Per Inch). Make sure your artwork is set to 300 DPI for the best print quality. This resolution ensures that your design will appear sharp and professional when printed, whether it’s on a small sticker or large label.
  • Use the Correct Color Mode. Ensure that your files are set to CMYK color mode instead of RGB. CMYK is the standard for printing, representing the four ink colors (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key/Black) used in the printing process. RGB is for digital screens and won’t always produce the same colors when printed.
  • Include Bleed Area for Edge-to-Edge Designs. If your design extends to the edges of the sticker or label, be sure to include a bleed area. This extra area around your design ensures no white border when the stickers are cut. A bleed of 0.125 inches (1/8 inch) is standard for most sticker and label designs.
  • Keep Important Elements Within the Safe Zone. Ensure that text, logos, and other important elements are placed within the safe zone—usually about 0.125 inches away from the edge. This prevents any text or logos from being cut off during the trimming process.
