Ballet Theatre 4th Nutcracker Tea Party

We sponsor an event almost every weekend of the year, and this weekend we have a different style of event: a ballet performance. And in the spirit of the season, it's the fourth annual Nutcracker Tea Party from the folks at the Wichita Falls Ballet Theatre in North Texas. They created a fun sticker sheet adorned with individual Christmas candy stickers and then their event logo. This fundraising event is put on by the non-profit organization of the Wichita Falls Ballet Theatre Guild (WFBT). We just love nonprofits, and this one raises money for the need-based scholarship program for students who otherwise wouldn't be able to attend the ballet school. The WFBT also uses these funds to provide a Lecture Series throughout the year for the dancers of the WFBT in an effort to enrich their lives, boost self-esteem, promote healthy habits. The Nutcracker Tea Party consists of a light brunch, tea, and a short performance of the Nutcracker Suite which acts as a preview of the Wichita Falls Ballet Theatre's Nutcracker production. Families and businesses in the surrounding area attend in an effort to help us promote ballet and the arts in the North Texas region.
