What is Pantone? PANTONE® is the worldwide language of color and if you ain't speaking it, then it is a sad black and white kind of world.
Pantone is an awesome and colorful company. They are THE authority on color being the lead provider of color systems, technology to improve selection and accuracy around the communication of color for tons of industries, including printing stickers.
It all started on a sunny day with rainbows... "In 1963, Lawrence Herbert, Pantone's founder, created an innovative system for identifying, matching and communicating colors to solve the problems associated with producing accurate color matches in the graphic arts community. His insight that the spectrum is seen and interpreted differently by each individual led to the innovation of the PANTONE® MATCHING SYSTEM®, a book of standardized color in fan format."
Pantone has just released an official new color, Minion Yellow. "...PANTONE Minion Yellow is a color that heightens awareness and creates clarity... the color of hope, joy and optimism" stated Leatrice Eiseman, Exectuive Director, Pantone Color Institute. This is the first official new color in three years from Pantone.
