ME, ME, ME ... it's all about ME ... the Great State of Maine, that is! LiveMe.com produces a marvelous line of Maine-inspired apparel and accessories, from t-shirts and hoodies to buttons, pint glasses, camp mugs, flying discs ... and foam koozies. Everyone knows you can't have enough koozies on a hot July day ... well, as hot as it gets in Maine ... with that in mind, LiveMe offers a BeerME backyard toolkit that features four BeerME koozies and a flying BeerME disc. Sweet! Beer and driving never mix. But beer and flying discs? That's an awesome combination! Which brings us to today's trivia question, this being Tuesday, and all. You might be thinking, "oh, it's a trivia question about Maine!" Nope. It's about flying discs ... Q: Who invented the Frisbee? . . . . . . . A: The Frisbee was invented by Walter Frederick Morrison. The earliest version of the Frisbee took off in 1948 and was originally marketed as "Flyin-Saucers." A new name, the "Pluto Platter," came with a redesign in 1955. Morrison sold the rights to Wham-O in 1957 and they relaunched with the Frisbee name.
