Q&A with Jason Lewis

What do people really dig about your product/services?: Ecospace Commercial is a traditional commercial real estate firm with a very forward thinking and tech savvy focus.  Our team specializes in working with high growth tech startups that need flexibility and unique spaces.  As tech founders ourselves (co-founder of PivotDesk, '12 Techstars Alum) we understand the pain and frustration an entrepreneur has when trying to scale a company quickly.  We eliminate the office space as being one of those pain points so the can focus on what is most important, the company. Who are the awesome people behind the curtain at your company/project and what do they do?: We have an amazing staff from our local administrative team that keeps Ecospace Commercial running on a day to day basis to our virtual team around the world that each focuses on one particular task.   The partners and founders are two veteran office tenant representation brokers, Jason S. Lewis and Charlie Lodge.   Jason is a serial entrepreneur who loves real estate and loves saving companies money.  He was one of the co-founders of PivotDesk, a '12 Techstars alumni company.  He has over 350 office lease transactions under his belt.  Charlie is a 15+ year veteran and cut his teeth working on large corporate clients while at the Fortune 500 commercial real estate firm, CBRE.  He joined Ecospace Commercial to focus on larger locally owned companies who need the experience of a corporate broker combined with a more personal and friendly personality. Why/How do you use stickers as a marketing or outreach tactic?:  To be different.  The commercial real estate brokerage world is very boring, run by old power suit dudes and archaic.  No one else provides stickers, let alone badass stickers like StickerGiant produces.  So when we send a sticker as a follow up to a meeting or stick it on a clients water bottle, it helps show that we are different.  Plus, it helps keep us top of mind. What advice would you give to a company thinking about using stickers as a marketing tactic to wow their fans. What has worked for you, what hasn’t, etc?:  As Nike says, "Just Do It!"   We use them to stick on water bottles, snow skis, clients office spaces, notebooks, laptops, etc.   People sometimes are surprised that we give them out in place of business cards. List some ways that fans can support your brand to encourage growth apart from buying your product or service?: Referrals!   If anyone knows of a startup or established company needing space or having a lease renewal coming due,  we would be honored to gain a heads up.   Or if someone hears of something cool a company is doing with their space that might help others, we'd love to hear about it.
