October has fallen upon us and the faint screams of Halloween are right around the corner. The Stanley Hotel is one of the most famous, haunted hotels in America offering daily tours to explain the history and those so-called bumps in the night guest's report...
The Stanley Hotel was first opened in the summer of 1909. It has had a very rich history starting with the original owner, Freelan Oscar Stanley and it's connection with the development of the town of Estes Park, Colorado, where it is home to. Over the years it has been featured on Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, and multiple other Travel channel shows.
Whether you believe in ghosts or not, there is something for everyone to experience at the Stanley Hotel. There are a few different kinds of tours offered, the most popular being The Stanley Tour, which has a perfect mix of history and paranormal. They also offer Night Ghost tours that spend the ninety minutes focused on what is happening and reported at the hotel with some connection of the history that ties into the ghosts. The final kind is a five hour long introduction to paranormal investigating with the Stanley Paranormal Investigation team with cases of equipment and lots of quiet time to hear every creak of doors to raise the hair on your neck.
The Stanley Tours are so popular that they leave every twenty minutes during the day at times and cross in to the night tours at the hotel. To keep everyone organized, they use colorful custom stickers to split up tour groups. They use six different colors throughout the day and then the Night Ghost Tour and Stanley Paranormal Investigation have separate stickers to differentiate them. They don't need guests of the hotel disappearing now...
From haunted hotel tours to haunted houses, put away the wrist bands for entry, stickers make a great identifier especially in dark halls where anything can happen.
