WordCamp Weekend, yahoo! Seems like a week can't go by without us writing about WordPress. (We can't help it. We have sponsored stickers somewhere in America every weekend). This weekend is no different as we head to the Tidewater region of Virginia for WordCamp Hampton Roads.
For those that don't know about this unique coastal area near Norfolk, Hampton Roads is one of the biggest natural harbors on the globe. There, the mouths of the Elizabeth River, the Nansemond River, and the James River (along with with other smaller rivers) empty into the Chesapeake Bay where it joins the Atlantic Ocean. Translation: Ships. Lots of 'em. The Navy and Coast Guard have a large presence in the area. Also, hence the trident-brandishing Poseidon in the sponsored sticker you see in the photo above. Cool design. Anyways, consider that your geography lesson for the day.
Let's get back to WordCamp. For those heading to Tidewater Community College’s Advanced Technology Center at the Virginia Beach Campus for this year's WordCamp Hampton Roads, the schedule is packed with WordPress learning and development networking.
