Just knowing that the passionate community behind the web's best development software will be meeting makes us happy, proud and just a little bit inspired.

Moving east, we have WordCamp Boston 2015 at Boston University. Saturday July 18 and Sunday July 19 are packed with great speakers and topics, that has a WordPress topic for everyone. Our pick to click: They have a “Happiness Bar” where you can get help with your individual problems and needs. We love being happy. On Saturday there is an After Party starting at 5:30p at the Holiday Inn Brookline (1200 Beacon St). Come grab appetizers and a cash bar.

Keynote speakers this year are Bobbie Carlton of Carlton PR & Marketing, Innovation Nights, and Innovation Women, who will be speaking on Saturday morning. She’ll be talking about how it’s important to think about how you’ll acquire customers from the beginning of your website (or company).

Mat Marquis will give his talk, Smaller, Faster Websites, on Sunday morning. Mat is Chair of the Responsive Issues Community Group, and a developer at Bocoup. He’ll share tools & techniques for improving your website’s performance, so you can be sure that everyone will have a good experience with your site.

Whether in Boston or Scranton, make sure to grab a specialty WordCamp sticker sheet and slap some on your laptop to commemorate the weekend! Have fun.
