Sponsorship Desk: NEPA BlogCon and AIGA New Mexico
As we wrap another week here at the Sponsorship Desk, we get to go out with a bang with another doubleheader of awesome community events. This weekend features two unique gatherings where Team StickerGiant stickers are in attendance (with a total of four!). We start in New Mexico (home to another event TEDxABQ) with an AIGA-Adobe meet up, and then we head over to Northeastern Pennsylvania for the annual NEPA BlogCon.

AIGA NEW MEXICO

AIGA New Mexico and Adobe are teaming up once again to bring another workshop to New Mexico's creative community. On Saturday, the University of New Mexico Student Union Building will host a full-day workshop called "Hot Tips for Working Faster with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign." Here's more about the workshop from the AIGA New Mexico site:
Whether you're a print designer, or more of a jack-of-all-trades, the one thing we all have in common is that there just aren’t enough hours in the day. This workshop delivers a variety of hot tips in the latest versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign that guarantee to save you time. You'll learn tricks for faster workflows, new and updated features and tools within Adobe Creative Cloud, and how the programs interact with current technologies. By attending this workshop, you'll walk away with actionable information and advice for a more efficient, effective, and enjoyable design practice.
Check out the design portfolios of these AIGA members. Wishing all organizers and attendees a fun and educational experience. You can follow the action on Twitter through the @aiganm account. SponsorshipDesk-nepa-aiga-01

NEPA BlogCon

If you are into blogging, then the NEPA BlogCon is right up your alley. (NEPA stands for Northeast Pennsylvania.) This annual, full-day affair is not just a coffee klatch, it's a modern meetup that offers professional networking, panels, awards and an expo. And it's more than bloggers. It's creatives, students, small business owners, and folks from all walks of the Internet, and the content of the event goes from beginner to expert. Bonus: We hear there's door prizes, which is rad. They have a nice social stream up on their page, and you can follow the sessions as they unfold through the NEPABlogCon Twitter account.
