Girl Develop It 2nd Anniversary Party
Girl Develop It has been changing lives in Los Angeles for two years. Now, they are ready to celebrate this milestone with a party. This Sunday, event goers will meet at the iconic Gas Company Tower in LA to pick up a sweet sticker sheet stocked with iconography and classic lines from the group's branding, with favorites like "Talk Nerdy to Me" and "I <code> like a Girl."
In two years, they've
grown to over 1,700 members, have held over 100 events, recruited over 100 volunteers to help, and seen over 1600 students attend their classes, workshops, study groups and mentoring nights. Girl Develop is a nationwide 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides affordable and judgement-free opportunities for women interested in learning web and software development. The Los Angeles chapter of Girl Develop It is one of 52 cities in the program. Cheers to that!
