Skirt Sports believes that "what you wear matters." Of course it does! They also hope you'll "convert to skirt" for your fitness wear. Cute and fun, right?
On her way to launching Skirt Sports in 2004, professional triathlete Nicole DeBoom won an Ironman wearing a home-sewn prototype. This skirt is the symbol of our mission – Fitness clothing with the perfect balance of Fashion, Performance and Attitude! Skirt Sports inspires women of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to transcend their perceived limits and pursue their greatest ambitions. We celebrate each woman's strength and beauty as she embraces the transformative power of fitness and has fun doing it. When you look good, you feel good and when you feel good, you perform better.Ever since Title IX was passed into federal law in 1972, any educational program that receives federal funding requires gender equity...like sports in schools. Does that include fitness skirts? Could be. If any of you boys out there feel like converting to skirt, we say go for it! Because if it's good enough for Sir Sean Connery, it's good enough for us.
