Today we've got two craft brews from different parts of the USA. First up is Rhino Chasers from 28 North Brewhouse in Ashburn, VA. I can't better the brewer's description, so I'll just quote it:
With its rich, dense, creamy head, Rhino Chasers is a goldern lager that is a crisp, refreshing beer for the warm summer days of D.C. It is a Keller style lager using premium brewer’s malt that creates a sweet backbone. However, it’s the hops that really make this brew stand out. The prominent hop flavor and fresh aroma are from the noble hops Halertau and Saaz. The current brew is served unfiltered, so the complex taste created curing the slow brewing process was not stripped away.Sounds tasty. If your're in Northern Virginia or D.C. look for Rhino Chasers. Second up is Yellow Kite Summer Ale from Bristol Brewing Company in Colorado Springs, CO. Here's how they describe it:
...Not your father’s pilsner. Bright gold in color, this pilsner harkens back to its true European origins with a flavor that’s light and refreshing, yet absolutely memorable. German pilsen barley lends a traditional malt component, while fine Czech and German hops add a nice snap.Look for it throughout Colorado. Yumm, beer! Still time to enjoy these brews during the World Cup, eh?
