Well, I didn't know about this. There's a sport called Futsal, and Portland Futsal is a facility for playing the game. It's indoor soccer without the walls, with a smaller, heavier ball. It's short for Futbol de Salon. "Play indoor soccer the Brazilian way -- Without Walls!" avers their website. Well, sound fun enough.
I only tried indoor soccer for one season back in high school and it wasn't for me. I'm kinda terrible at futbol. At my best I had the ball skills of a six-year-old, but I could knock anybody down. True story. It's due to my low center of gravity.
Anyway, Portland Futsal has all sorts of leagues and programs, including a toddlers' program, which is frickin' adorable, and the rates seem reasonable to me. I'd watch a game from the climate-controlled soccer lounge, and let my friends do all the running around, but that's just me.
