"Fingers Crossed" is a brand new record from musician, Jenny Stockdale. She is singing like "the house is on fire" in this 12 track Americana, folk, country album, the result of over a year of writing.
On February 7th, at The Carriage House Cafe in her hometown of Ithaca, NY, Jenny hosted a beautiful, sold out album release party. Friends and musicians from all around came to hear her play "Fingers Crossed" in this perfect setting.
Jenny Stockdale used Pledge Music to raise support for her album prior to release. Think kickstarting but for musicians. With a pledge came exclusive early access to the digital download of the album, hand-written lyric sheets with illustrations, personal acoustic house shows, a chance to add your name in the vinyl liner notes, and even a homemade, air-mailed apple pie. Also, added in for pledgers is an exclusive "Fingers Crossed" album sticker.
Jenny explained, "I really wanted a promotional item that was functional and fun and who doesn't love stickers for both of those ends?!"
Jenny also included these custom UV Laminated White Polypropylene stickers with every purchase of merchandise at the album release party. By the end of the night, the "Fingers Crossed" stickers were leaving on guitar cases.
"Fingers Crossed" will be coming out for digital distribution in May, but to get it now, with all the perks, go to Jenny Stockdale's Pledge Music page.
