Lady Justice Brewing is a two-year old business based in Denver's Mountain View neighborhood that runs on a unique mission. They are a philanthropic, community-supported brewery that donates all of the profits from their beer sales (after cost) to organizations that promote the status and opportunities of women and girls. To get the word out, they are using glossy die cut promotional stickers for their iconic logo.
Their tagline is "Great Beer. Better World." and it is featured prominently on their sticker design. The focus of the sticker is Lady Liberty, proudly hoisting a bottle of craft beer. To compose the statue, a series of geometric shapes in a variety of colors creates the shape and the black background gives pure contrast for the colors to pop. Their design deploys the custom shape to full effect, as their company name wraps around the top of the sticker with a series of small curves along the top edge of the shape. Then there's the die cut that meets the circle sticker filling out the rest of the shape.
When Lady Justice opened, their physical location was used for just production. At 332 square feet, they didn't have space for a tap room, so they worked off a Community-Supported model, think of a CSA for produce, but for beer. Fans signed up for a membership, and they received a monthly delivery of Lady Justice brews. Since inception, the brewery has grown, and now they have set up shop in the Factotum Brewing, another woman-owned business that focuses on highlighting the best of Denver. They are making waves in the brewing community, and the brand is being featuring in plenty of news coverage.
When it comes to growing a beer brand, a custom sticker gives your fans the instant recognition they seek to help tell your story. They will slap your logo on their growler or their cooler so they have a memento of their experience, and they'll stick your brand on their bumper so they have a rolling billboard as they travel around town.
