Our country is full of natural wonders that are just waiting to be seen - from fall leaves to snow-capped mountains and every landmark in between - which is why the National Park Service is your best friend. They've been working hard for the last 98 years to make sure you have a natural, beautiful place to take your family, hike, relax and see the sights in a safe, comfortable environment. With 59 parks in 27 states, there is no shortage of adventure should you go looking for it.
In the 1930's and '40's, the Works Progress Administration started a series of artwork to showcase the country's natural park system, but the project was abandoned over time as more pressing matters needed attending to. Photographer and graphic artist Rob Decker is a Colorado man who has taken on the task of finishing these posters in the same style the WPA used during their original run, but he needs your help! A Kickstarter campaign called the National Park Poster Project has been started to help Rob meet his financial goals so the project can forge ahead.
StickerGiant has donated to his Kickstarter campaign because we love art and appreciate our great state of Colorado, which is home to four national parks of its own. Any time we can support a fellow artist, count us in! Stickers are a great form of artistic expression, so if you're ready to take your projects to the next level we're ready to help!
