October is underway and with it the cracking of bats and cheers of thousands of fans supporting their teams in the MLB hunt for a World Series Title. Baseball America is passionate about the sport of baseball and they have a wealth of information on the playoffs, next year's prospects, history and more.
Baseball America publishes some of the best baseball content available. They cover everything from youth baseball to overseas and do a great job covering prospects as they develop from youths to the majors. We chatted with Will Lingo, Publisher of Baseball America, about their passion and their awesome stickers:
"I'm a Baseball American" what's the idea behind this statement?
Will: I've been part of Baseball America for twenty years and recently taken over as Publisher. The thing behind Baseball America is our fans' passion for the game. We want to build community through their passion and this statement really does that.
Where can people find these stickers?
Will: We distribute them at baseball events, tradeshows, mailings that go out, and book orders. We've done several orders now and love the durability and quality. They last a lot longer on cars than our previous stickers.
Where are you hoping hoping people slap them on and represent Baseball America?
Will: Everywhere. Everyone loves stickers but it does depend on the stage of life people are in for where they will stick them. In our office, everyone put them on their laptops right away. Recently, at the College World Series in Omaha, a lot of people were putting them right on their shirts and it was great to see them being used like that.
Baseball is a special part of American history and continues to be a driving force in people's lives. It's great to see the use of a custom sticker be such an impactful part of everything great that Baseball America does.
