H.A.M.B. Drag Racing

This must be loud. H.A.M.B. Drag Racing is an annual event at the MoKan Raceway, in Ashbury, MO, near Joplin, MO. It's a "traditional pre-65 drag race" so all the cars are classic hot rods.

Early style dragsters, gassers, rails, bikes, and stock cars roar down the quarter mile in a setting that hasn't been duplicated since the late 50's. These traditional hot rods and race cars along with the passionate people that build and maintain them join forces to create the event we call the H.A.M.B. Drags! The H.A.M.B. Drags are special every year... In fact, we like to agree with the many that consider it the best drag racing event in the country.

Well I'm not gonna argue with that. If you want you can get prepared for 2011 because this year's drags happened August 21st. I bet ears are still ringing.
