In Montana's Gallatin Valley, they brew bold beer, sleep under big skies and live in a beautiful place, and Bozeman Craft Beer Week is ready for their second edition of the annual eight-day celebration that highlights the diverse and thriving craft beer scene in southwest Montana with custom die cut stickers.
The folks behind this design run Fermentana, an events promotions company that uses fermented craft beverages to create what they call positive change in communities. They feature Montana-made beers, spirits, ciders, and these events not only entertain, but raise awareness and funds for important social and conservation causes across the Big Sky State. They work with breweries and other businesses to plan, organize, and execute special events, like Bozeman Craft Beer Week. The sticker highlights all that is good about Bozeman, with beautiful, green fields, a flowing river (the same golden hue of the featured guest: The Beer!), soaring mountains and the sun shining down. They've got their tagline as the wrap along the top, and the event date and branding in the middle on the green background for maximum contrast. The triangular shape on the bottom gives the sticker a strong definition, and the slight bump-out on the top border gives the design a little playfulness to go along with the strong use of colors. When it comes to event stickers, we love to see communities coming together and sharing stories. What we love even more is when that event has a custom sticker that attendees can take with them and remember those stories and that community.
The founders, Jesse and Loy, are two lady home brewers who came up with the idea for an epic community-wide craft beer celebration, and then started their fermentation-focused events promotions company. We appreciate that entrepreneurial spirit and focus on what they love, and how they created a community around that passion.
"Beer isn't just beer. Beer brings us closer together. It helps us celebrate success and nurse us through failure. Just as important, the establishments where beer is born, serve as focal points of the communities they serve. Put simply, beer is one of humanity's most powerful and ancient community building tools. Who wouldn't want to celebrate that?" ~ JesseIn Bozeman there are nine operating breweries within city limits with another two in the region, and more growth is on the way. For this event, there are 48 local businesses and organizations (including the 11 local breweries), with a growth in the event over the first edition. There is a special collaboration beer, the Gallatin Valley Lager that they say is "Brewed for the Trail," and if you're in the region, you gotta stop by to get this special concoction. Ten local breweries worked together to create a special collaboration beer brewed with locally-grown malt from Bridger Malt House and hops from Crooked Yard Hops. The result is a beer that's a refreshing, crisp Montana Pale Lager bursting with citrusy hop aroma. You can get this on tap and in cans at Bozeman Brewing Company, the host brewery for the beer project. And because it's all around community, proceeds from the sale of the collaboration beer, will be donated to Fermentana's craft beer week nonprofit partner, Gallatin Valley Land Trust, to support their mission of protecting open space and creating trails across the community. Cheers to the Bozeman Craft Beer community! Enjoy your celebration.
