Hi Tiffany! Can you introduce yourself to our readers:
I'm Tiffany and I've been working part-time here at StickerGiant for just over 2 years.
Do you think you can see yourself staying in Boulder County for a while:
I plan to be in Boulder County for another 13 years while my kids are in school. After that, I'd love to move up to the mountains nearby. I have my eye on a place just over the border in Larimer County.
What was your first job:
My first job was putting checks in numerical order for my parent's accounting business while watching Saturday morning cartoons. I was probably 7 or 8 years old.
What was your worst job:
I went through ancient files at a dental office to remove accounting paperwork. It is morbid to think why I was leaving all of the x-rays and dental records in there.
Outside of work, what can we find you doing:
I spend a lot of time with my kids at their activities. When I get the opportunity for ME time, I love yoga and riding my bike.
What do you love most about working for a sticker company:
I'm always amazed by the variety of stickers we make. It is fun to see people's creativity and what they care about.
What role do you cover for StickerGiant? Can you tell us what your job entails:
I'm a "Numbers Analyst". I help with bookkeeping and with special projects when there are numbers to be processed or analyzed. I also get called when someone has an Excel spreadsheet emergency.
Where did your interest in numbers come from?
Having parents that are accountants, I resisted number crunching jobs for a long time. Then I found that organizing and manipulating numbers comes really easily for me and can be a lot of fun. I now embrace my geekiness and love number challenges of any kind both at work and away from it!
What's your favorite part about you job and working for StickerGiant:
I laugh every day, either because of funny stickers or because of my fun co-workers.
Have you ever caught a problem at StickerGiant that saved the company time and money?:
Some of my analyses have uncovered inefficiencies and problems that have now been fixed. Introducing the folks here to sharing documents online has helped, too.
