The good times are rolling on Tampa Bay's Brew Bus, and matte stickers help show the way.
In honor of Tampa Bay Beer Week, which runs all week long, we're highlighting Brew Bus and their unique sticker (and beer!) story.
Brew Bus has a lot going on. They are an independent brewery, an on-site craft kitchen called The Eatery, and a craft beer tourism company. They are based in Tampa's Seminole Heights, but there's a Colorado connection, which we love. Back in 2011, Anthony Derby, the company's founder, was a student at The University of Colorado here in Boulder. With the high concentration of craft beer breweries here in Boulder, he wanted to visit as many as possible, but he found that it was hard to do, safely. The bus idea was born.
Here in Longmont, we're big fans of the beer trolley idea. We have one called the Brew Hop Trolley, and it makes the rounds through town hitting up the local breweries. The trolley is a great community resource in the craft beer capitals of America. Now Brew Bus has a terminal and brewery as a stop on their tour that takes people all over town.
Matte Stickers as works of art
As for the Brew Bus Brewing sticker, it's a work of art. No, seriously their custom shaped die cut features an illustrated map of the area and some really fun graphics. Over on their Instagram, you can see the inspiration for this sticker, which is a mural on the walls of the brewery and taproom. They have a nice slideshow of the installation in progress, and there's also a photo of our sticker in front of the mural. Definitely worth following to see their creativity at work. Also, the beer.
On the top of the sticker you'll see a hashtag that says #We(Heart)TheHeights, giving the sticker a sense of place, and then on the bottom they have their branded hashtag #BrewBusBrewing. The Hillsborough River in blue meanders along the northern border of the sticker, and it wouldn't be a Florida-themed piece of art without an alligator, in this case two gators serving as the compass rose for the map pointing North, South, East and West. Right smack dab in the middle of the sticker is the Brew Bus Brewing location. The rest of the sticker has the streets and other breweries on the tour, since Brew Bus offers public and private charters to local breweries you see on the map. Another twist to their service is that they have a special license to serve beer on board the buses. Since they couldn’t decide which local brewery to feature, they chose to make their own beer. You can get their brews on the bus or in cans all across Florida. For Tampa Bay Beer Week, Brew Bus has a bunch of events going on throughout the week. If you're in the region, hop on!
Stickers and labels for craft beer
We serve hundreds of breweries all across the country, and we print up promotional stickers and product labels for the craft beer industry. We see so many amazing stories and creative designs from the hard-working brewers of America. As brewers know, their logo is a major part of their brand, and the fastest way to grow your business is to empower your customers. Craft beer drinkers are notoriously loyal, and when you brew great beer, the folks that enjoy it want to promote you. With a custom logo sticker, your fans can slap your brand on their growlers, water bottles, car windows, coolers and laptops. Check out the many beer sticker stories on the rest of the blog.
