CrossVegas, America's most-glamorous cyclocross race, is back for the 2016 Edition, the 10th anniversary of the race. They have a Vegas-script themed sticker with a shadow type behind their logo as an inspiration message, with a diamond-shaped tear-off in the center of their sponsored sticker.
If you're not familiar with cyclocross, it's a tradition bike racing tradition from Europe, but with a twist: mud, short hills and barriers to jump. CrossVegas is also the biggest cyclocross race in America. This night-time race takes place in September (Wednesday the 21st this year) at the Desert Breeze Soccer Complex in Las Vegas, Nevada, a quick bike ride from the famous Vegas Strip.
CrossVegas has seen impressive growth since its inaugural race in 2007, and each year attracts an increasingly elite field of U.S. and foreign racers as well as over 10,000 spectators. Despite its relatively short history, CrossVegas has quickly ascended to the top of the international cylcocross racing scene and now boasts the accolade of being America's best cyclocross race.Another cool thing about cyclocross races? The beer hand up, a tradition where spectators hold out beer for the racers, and sometimes they take a chug. Now we might not be fast bike racers, but we can get behind this tradition.
