Craigslist, the world's online classified ads to find almost anything: jobs, housing, goods, services, romance, local activities, advice, etc. It also is a place to go to see how weird, us humans are.
Founded in 1995, by Craig Newmark in San Francisco. The local classifieds and forums site grew and is now a simple website platform for people to find whatever their hearts desire. The neat thing about Craigslist is that it remains to this day a .org because of the non-commercial nature of the site.
When was the last time you logged in to Craigslist? They get over 50 billion page views a month and only 60 million of those are in the United States. People are browsing through over 80 million classified ads posted by users in a given month.
