ColoradoStrong Brew Brings Breweries Together

We are excited to announce our participation in Colorado Strong Pale Ale, a unique community brewing project being run by The Left Hand Brewing Foundation and the Colorado Brewers Guild, in partnership with the Ball Corporation and On Tap Credit Union. This group will supply free ingredients and the recipe for Colorado Strong Pale Ale to brewers across Colorado, while StickerGiant has donated the label design and label printing for all who participate. Colorado Strong Pale Ale is a benefit beer made with Colorado ingredients by Colorado breweries to support the local supply chain, neighborhood breweries, and raise funds for the Colorado Strong Fund to provide aid in response to the impacts of Covid-19 across Colorado. The beer’s recipe is a collaboration between Left Hand Brewing Foundation Treasurer and Great American Beer Fest award-winning home-brewer Mark Boelman,  Root Shoot Malting, and Colorado Hop Company. 20% of all sales of Colorado Strong Pale Ale will return to the Colorado Strong Fund and will be allocated directly to providing assistance to healthcare, hospitality, service industry, and gig economy workers across the state. We tasked a member of our marketing team, Shandell Clutter, to create the label design. She chose a bold use of color and Colorado iconography to bring together the whole layout. "This was my first time designing a beer label," said Clutter. "I’m very honored it’s for an incredible cause. I wanted the label design to have sort of an iconic feel. You’ll see the CO flag colors, the red C, and we’ve got our beautiful Rocky Mountains front and center. Anyone who grabs this beer can be proud and certain they’re supporting their state." By purchasing a pint, crowler, or even a keg of Colorado Strong Pale Ale from your local brewery you not only provide a charitable contribution, but help your favorite brewery to make payroll, keep the tasting room open, and most importantly, keep brewing delicious beers for years to come. Brewing of Colorado Strong Pale Ale begins statewide on May 1, 2020, and consumers can expect to see Colorado Strong Pale Ale available to purchase as soon as May 10.
