CharfooderieATX is a woman-owned business specializing in Charcuterie boards and grazing tables.
In late 2020, Alexa Romero started CharfooderieATX to provide an experience that stimulated appetites and conversation with every board that she creates.
"We specialize in Luxe grazing with lots of color and variety," she says. "I am committed to using quality, hand-selected ingredients, while also being conscious of the environment."
Alexa loves to customize as little or as much as the customer likes so that they receive something worthy of the moments that CharfooderieATX shares with them. To help brand her creations, she is using custom product labels to add that little special touch.
It's a familiar trend with some of our recent Customer Stories on the blog, where the pandemic effect drove entrepreneurs to start something new. "At the beginning of August 2020, when the pandemic was still in full swing, I decided to start this idea," she says. "I have a nine to five job, but I've always enjoyed throwing parties on the side for my friends. When Covid started, I had this idea to do food boards. I guess at that time I didn't really see much like it around, and now there is a community of people doing it.""
She loves the creativity and color that goes into making a custom board. "I was doing taco boards and fry boards, and I just like doing all sorts of crazy stuff at the home," she said.
She's spent the past year testing out new board ideas, private events and growing the awareness of her business through Instagram, which if you head over to that platform, you'll see luscious spreads laid out in numerals for a milestone birthday, themed "foodie" cone treats, or even single-serve mini boards and to-go boxes. There is no limit to how creative the display, and it all comes back to great food and happy customers.
"I am most proud of how I have grown this brand into a business in less than a year," she says. "I am grateful for all of the customers who have supported us."
