Celebrating Queer, Fat, Disabled, and Neurodivergent Joy with Queer & Feral

Rachael Blanks (they/them), the visionary artist behind Queer & Feral, creates stunning stickers and art celebrating bodies and identities often overlooked in mainstream media. Their art uplifts the queer, fat, disabled, and neurodivergent community with messages of love, joy, and unapologetic self-expression.

Nature, Queer Love, and Gothic Aesthetics: The Inspirations Behind Queer & Feral

Rachael has been an artist for as long as they can remember, but the inspiration to start Queer & Feral came from a need to fill a gap in the market. “I noticed a lack of art celebrating queer, fat, disabled, neurodivergent joy,” they explain. Through their work, Rachael challenges societal norms by creating designs that highlight and celebrate bodies in a positive light.

Queer & Feral’s designs pull inspiration from diverse sources, including nature, specifically mushrooms and botanicals, gothic and alternative aesthetics, and the beauty of human connection. Some ideas emerge from Rachael’s mission to destigmatize fat and disabled bodies, while others are the delightful result of their ADHD-driven “weird little brain.” The result? Playful, impactful designs that spark joy and foster connection.

Why Stickers Are the Perfect Canvas

Stickers are a cornerstone of the Queer & Feral brand. According to Rachael, “Stickers are small, versatile, and affordable—making art more accessible, both physically and financially.” In challenging times, stickers offer a simple way to spread joy and love. “I want people to buy a cute, loving, or unhinged sticker to bring them happiness.”

Rachael’s creative journey starts on their iPad using Procreate, where rough sketches evolve into refined designs. Fonts, brushes, and color palettes bring their vision to life before the final product is uploaded to StickerGiant for production. “StickerGiant makes it super easy to order custom stickers,” Rachael shares.

Among Queer & Feral’s standout designs are the Twilight-Jacob-inspired bumper sticker—“Bella, why the hell aren’t you letting me merge, loca?”—and a deeply personal mushroom sticker that reads, “Friendly reminder: your body is good on the bad days, too.” These designs reflect Rachael’s humor and values and connect with audiences on a personal level, fostering a sense of community and self-acceptance.

A Match Made in Sticker Heaven

For Rachael, partnering with StickerGiant has been transformative.

After switching from another company, they found StickerGiant’s high-quality products and values to be a perfect fit. “The process is so easy, and the customer service is incredible,” they say. “It’s a dream working with a company that aligns with my values.”

Building Community Through Stickers

Stickers are more than art for Queer & Feral—they’re a way to build connections. Customers often share stories of how Rachael’s designs helped them feel more at home in their bodies. “That’s all I want, ultimately,” they say. “To bring a little piece of joy to people.”

What’s Next for Queer & Feral?

As Queer & Feral grows, Rachael plans to expand their sticker collections, continuing to celebrate and destigmatize queer, trans, fat, disabled, and neurodivergent identities. “They’re more than stickers,” Rachael insists. “They’re love, celebration, and acceptance in tangible form.”

At StickerGiant, we’re proud to support artists like Rachael Blanks and brands like Queer & Feral that use stickers to create joy and connection. Ready to bring your own creative vision to life? Let StickerGiant help you make it happen!
