For the next five days, Longmont Startup 2017 will bring together entrepreneurs, "wannapreneurs", intrapreneurs, creatives, techies, inventors, business owners, and investors from across the country to experience all that Longmont, Colorado has to offer.
We signed up our Creative Director Alan Peters of Jupiter Visual to design this year's sticker sheet as part of our sponsorship. The design features all types of tech-related peel offs that make for a fun scene. There's the Startup Week event branding of course, but then there's also a bike, a wifi symbol, an I heart Longmont and more. Sticker sheets are a fun way to pack design and branding into a small space, and Alan did a great job on this version.
There will be multiple networking events, panels, fireside chats, and guest speakers hosted at unique venues throughout Longmont. The topics all showcase Longmont’s entrepreneurs in advanced technology, I.T., bioscience, creative arts, culinary, and more. All sessions are free to attend and provide outstanding learning and networking opportunities. This week is a partnership with the Longmont Economic Development Partnership, and we're proud to be on the sponsor roll of this celebration. A Special Week Deserves a Special Beer (Sticker)
Events are underway all across town, and tonight at 300 Suns Brewery is the tapping of a very special brew, the Wannapreneuer collaboration beer. We printed a die cut sticker to honor the local breweries that worked together for this special brew. Huge thanks to the breweries involved: 300 Suns, Oskar Blues, Left Hand Brewery, Open Door Brewery, Skeye Brewing, Shoes & Brews, Wibby Brewing, The Pumphouse, Grossen Bart, and Bootstrap Brewing. We are proud to have printed stickers for every single one of these breweries. Craft beer is one of the reasons that Longmont small business are growing at such a fast clip. The natural setting, and the energy around all things local, has really moved Colorado's 13th most-populous city into a new era of economic opportunity.
