Brewer Spotlight: Skeye Brewing

Look to Skeye Brewing as your next stop for a refreshing craft beer, and when you're there, take notice the plethora of brewery stickers available. Skeye Brewing is one of our local watering holes here in Longmont, Colorado. Our town, just outside of Boulder, is now home to 8 craft breweries. Skeye recently celebrated their one year anniversary and have continued to add to their tasty line up of brews, including a delicious seasonal pineapple pale ale. They are located on the edge of the Village at the Peaks and feature live music, trivia nights, open mic nights, and always cornhole. Chris, Kami and Steve are the team that put Skeye Brewing together. Kami is one of a few female head brewers out there, too.

"SKEYE Brewing gets its name from Kami and Chris's first three pets Sierra, Kita and Yakone. Their initials spell the word sky, and they all have stunning sky blue eyes, so we mashed the two words together. Our Red Ale takes its name from Steve's dog Tobias (AKA T-Bone), our Wheat Ale gets its name from Chris and Kami's cat Jinx, and our second IPA gets its name from Chris and Kami's kitten Jade."

Since before the doors opened at Skeye, the team has been at festivals and around town getting the word out about their beer with custom logo stickers. Their logo features none other than a dog with sky blue eyes surrounded by hops, and the custom shape makes this one epic sticker to slap. Come drink some Skeye beers with us as they were kind enough to jump on board in welcoming us to Longmont and will be a big part of our StickerGiant Open House Party pouring beers for attendees on Friday, August 12th from 4p-7p here at the StickerGiant plant on 880 Weaver Park Road.
