DrupalCon North America
Bluespark, the folks who do our site development, will be attending the biggest Drupal event in the world:
DrupalCon North America. Lucky them, as this year they get to spend May 9-13 in New Orleans. They have a super-fun clear sticker that they are traveling with that includes the Drupal mascot, who looks like a little drop of water, but here he's rendered as a spaceman with the Bluespark logo on his suit. Cool. Playful. Memorable.
[Now for a tech talk alert] We've been working with Bluespark for almost a year, and they've helped us update our website, which on
Symfony, which uses
PHP as the native language and is part of the Drupal development framework. Bluespark is a Drupal shop, so means it all plays nice together, and they get to go to cool conferences.
[End tech talk.]
The Drupal community is one of the largest open source communities in the world. They are developers, designers, strategists, coordinators, editors, translators, and more. At this conference, there are 13 session tracks, featuring topics like UX, DevOps, project management, and PHP. Each track includes sessions for beginners, experts, and everyone between. The convention center is located near the famous French Quarter, so there will be plenty of city life to enjoy outside of the event.
