Seriously, when we review the history of the bicycle (as we often do....don't judge), we're always surprised anyone stuck with it. A contraption made of wood so uncomfortable, people called it the "boneshaker"? Unpaved roads and deeps swaths of mud? Dogs jumping out with no warning? Sounds a lot like biking to work in modern day Chicago, what with their epic potholes and swift door-opening population. We know they're trying to friendly up the city's bike lanes, but it sounds like things have a way to go. Stop and look, people. Stop and look.
