Busy as a...creature that is very busy. Beehive Productions is hopping with activity on the music front. If you're in the Northeast, or nearby Saranac Lake in upstate New York, pay a visit and catch the buzz:
Production, development & design for the independent music community....We are dedicated to the growth and empowerment of independent musical artists and the organizations that support them. We produce recordings, performances, graphics and photography in collaboration with musicians, media & presenters. Beehive Productions was formed in 1996 by partners Jeff Oehler and Susan Bibeau while both were working for EMI/Capitol Music in New York City.Keep up the good work, friends! Funny how the bee shows up in so many places, innit? From art to churches to masons to cereal the beehive, honeycomb, and little buzzer itself have all served as representations of community, industry, and diligence—and honey as the nectar of the gods. Mmmm, nectar. Speaking of masons, what do Jesse Jackson, John Paul Jones, Shaquille O'Neill, Cecil B. DeMille, and Gerald Ford all have in common? Yup: they're all masons. Which is to say they are believed to be members of the notoriously secretive fraternal organization that's been in existence since 1390 and has been confounding ordinary schmucks for centuries.
