WordCamp Boston is an annual conference celebrating WordPress, the open source software that powers over 25% of the internet. They’ll have lecture-style sessions, panels, and workshops about WordPress and the tech industry. If sitting in talks all day isn’t your thing, they’ll also have an open area where you can chat with other WordPress users, and a volunteer-staffed help desk for questions.
The WordCamp Boston 2016 sticker sheet features a nautical theme with tear offs for all of the letters--A to Y, with a custom Wordpress flag in the place of Z)--that make up the major maritime navigational flags, plus some of this year's WordCamp Boston logo with an anchor. Pretty sweet tie-in to all of the seafaring that goes on in New England.
Starting on Saturday, attendees will be meeting at Boston University's George Sherman Union on the banks of the Charles River, where the schedule (see below) is packed with tech and inspiration. There will be after parties and plenty of networking, with a full day on Sunday for speakers and sessions.
